Who We Are
We are a photography and videography studio based in Rochester, New York, specializing in the art of storytelling through visual imagery. Our primary focus is to help companies elevate their presence by capturing images in a way that tells their story to reflect their style, uniqueness, and personality. Our true craft is being able to establish an emotional connection from our imagery to a business, creating that deep connection turns regular customers into loyal ones.
We specialize in a range of photography styles, including food, product, branding, commercial, and lifestyle photography. Additionally, we offer videography and content creation materials. In order to give our images life, our team of skilled photographers have developed, and continue to develop, a deep understanding of lighting, composition, and color, and are well versed in how to design, dress, and style even the most complex looks. We use the latest equipment and post processing techniques to ensure that every image we produce is of the highest quality.
We take pride in our timely delivery and communication, and are especially known for our warm and inviting approach to customer service. We understand that our clients are more than just customers - they are part of our photography family. This is what pushes us to go the extra mile in our work so that we can ensure we meet or exceed their expectations. Janet Li
Co-Founder
Meet one of our co-founders and Art Director of Boss Battle Studios, Janet Li! Janet started her passion for photography as a hobby when she worked as a dog trainer in Manhattan, NY. Some of the first models she had the opportunity to photograph were all the lovely dogs she cared for throughout the years.
After the many trials and tribulations of finding her place in the creative world in competitive New York City, Janet would eventually kick start her photography career at M5 Studios in Soho, NY. Little did she know then that her world was about to be shaken up when she was introduced to video production! 5 years later, Janet has already worked on a number of sets of varying scales all over the country for film, commercial, video and photography productions. She has gained quite a few notches on her belt as a creative magician working as a set designer, prop master, set builder, and art director.
Janet is the biggest kid at heart and loves to portray her love for life through her art. She believes that her appreciation for all the small things in life is what fine tunes her meticulous attention to detail in her craft. Needless to say, it certainly teaches all of us to see even the most ordinary things from a beautiful perspective, and it is the motto we carry with us around the studio!
Edward Rosentel
Co-Founder
Meet Edward Rosentel, one of our co-founders and photographers of Boss Battle Studios! Like all small business owners, Edward wears many hats, some pointier than others. One day he'll wear a backwards hat behind the camera performing his product photography duties. The next, he'll put on his wizard robes and cast spells in photoshop and premiere pro to elevate our photos and videos to the next level.
Edward makes sure our days on set have clear skies and strong winds in our sails. He ensures our final deliverables are polished and placed on a golden threaded pillow for our customers, Edward is there every step of the way!
Edward brings creative magic, rugged determination, empathetic customer relations, and conscientious leadership to our fellowship. He blends all this together to make sure our photo and video deliverables exceed customer expectations. His primary goal? To make sure that one time customers become customers for life!
Rush
Supervisor
Although Rush wears many hats here in Battle Boss Studios, his main role around the studio is The Supervisor.
Rush kick started his career at the young age of 2, following his mom's footsteps working as her studio assistant and playing a very essential part of daily workflow as the front desk greeter and security guard at M5 Studios in the bustling SoHo, NYC. With all his hard work and dedication through the years, he would quickly become the Director of Bork Communications at M5.
After moving away from the big city to Rochester, NY and taking a long hiatus, Rush is ready to roll up his fur and get back to work! He is very excited begin this new chapter in the family biz and knows in his heart that this company will move mountains especially with him by their side!
Snoop Dogg
Barketing Manager
Snoop Dogg is the youngest member of the family and the newest addition to the Battle Boss Studios team, taking on the important role Barketing Manager.
Snoop is all fun and games, but as you can tell from his stern face and classy attire, when it comes to work he is ready to get things done and getting them done (mostly) right! He is exact age of his older brother, Rush, when he started this journey with their mom and dad, and he dreams to be just as hard working and smart like his brother.
He is ready to prove his barketing skills to the world, and what's a better place to showcase those talents than the place he calls home, alongside his family!
